Meet the Team: Business Development Trainee, Júlia Nunes Silva

Who are you, where are you from and what’s your mission at Jobspotting?

I’m Júlia and I’m from Belo Horizonte, Brazil – you know…World Cup 2014, 7 – 1… yeah. I’ve recently joined Jobspotting as a Trainee in Business Development and one of my main missions is to share our awesome product with the recruiters around Berlin and beyond!

When you’re not working, where are you most likely to be found?

In one of the many great restaurants in Berlin!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Everything! Veterinarian, flight attendant, marine biologist, professional volleyball player… it goes on.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Disney movies.

What was your worst job?

Actually, my worst job was looking for a job after finishing my studies in Germany. It truly is a full-time job! (Hopefully Jobspotting can fix that, though…)

Where is your favourite place?

Probably under the acerola tree where I used to play with my cousins at my parents’ hometown back in Brazil.

Who would play you in a TV movie about your life?

Me. I can be pretty dramatic myself – no need for an actor.

What do you love about Berlin?

The amount and diversity of things happening all the time and the fact that I’m confronted with history everyday. Yes, I’m a history freak.

What’s your favourite quote?

“At the age of six I wanted to be a cook. At seven I wanted to be Napoleon. And my ambition has been growing steadily ever since.” – Salvador Dalí

Why do you like working at Jobspotting?

I think we all gave the same answer to this: the team is amazing!
